1/7 Scale Rubber Tire wheels

So here’s the story, we love RC drag racing! However, we couldn’t bring our bigger faster 1/7 scale cars to the local places we ran NPRC outlaw. Considering that the rubber tire and foam tire prep didn’t mix. We really wanted to be able to have both at events like Midwest Classic, Superchip & Supa’s Vegas races.

So we called up John Marton at Baad Racing and asked if he wanted to be a part of our project! Since you’re reading this, he obviously said yes! John made us some prototypes and we went out and tested… a lot!!! Many hours from testers like Joshua Alas, Gunner Gregerson and Supa Aaron gave us the feedback we needed (Thanks for the help!).

1. The V2 Voodoo tires can handle the weight

2. The voodoo rubber tires can handle the speed and spinning of the tires, tested to 105mph and lasted through several over accelerations off the line. We’ve had them spin to about 8000RPM.

3. We wondered about durability and have gotten 40-50 hits before we saw excessive wear and never saw delamination.

4. Short course 2” open cell foams and double stuff are the way to go for these cars.

So we are doing an early release on these for you to get your hands on the next rubber tire racing! We recommend starting on 4S or 6S to get your tune and prep game right before you but it on 8S and jerk the loud pedal!
